1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing curatedhabithome.com or engaging Curated Habit home LLC ("Curated Habit home," "we," "us") for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services. These terms are supplemented — never replaced — by your signed project contract, which governs in the event of conflict.

2. Our Services

Curated Habit home provides home renovation and remodeling services including interior and exterior renovation, roofing, solar, windows, flooring, security and fire systems installation, and related design and maintenance services, delivered directly or through licensed affiliate crews depending on state.

3. Estimates & Quotes

Estimates generated by our online calculator are indicative only and are not offers or commitments. Written, itemized fixed quotes are provided after a free walkthrough and remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Fixed quotes cover only the scope, materials and allowances expressly itemized.

4. Contracts, Scheduling & Payments

Work begins only upon a signed contract and receipt of the scheduled deposit (typically 10–30% depending on project size and state law).
Progress payments follow the milestone schedule in your contract. Final payment is due upon your approved final walkthrough.
Start and completion dates are made in good faith; schedules may shift due to weather, permit authorities, supply chain events or client-directed changes.

5. Change Orders

Any change to scope, materials or finishes requires a written change order stating the price and schedule impact. Work affected by a change proceeds only after your signed approval. Verbal requests honored in emergencies will be confirmed in writing within 2 business days.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to: provide safe, reasonable access to the work area; secure pets and valuables; make selections within allowance timelines; and promptly report concerns. Delays caused by missing access, late selections or unavailable utilities may adjust the schedule and, where contractually provided, associated costs.

7. Warranties

Curated Habit home provides a 5-year workmanship warranty on completed projects (1 year on Refresh packages) and a 10-year structural warranty on Full Transformation projects, each as detailed in your warranty certificate. Manufacturer warranties on materials are assigned or registered on your behalf. Warranties exclude normal wear, client or third-party modifications, and damage from misuse or events beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curated Habit home's total liability arising from a project is limited to the amounts paid by you for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of use or inconvenience, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

9. Cancellation & Termination

You may cancel before work begins with written notice; cancellation fees are limited to costs already incurred (materials, permits, labor scheduled). If either party materially breaches the contract and fails to cure within 14 days of written notice, the other party may terminate, and payment for completed work plus incurred costs will be due.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

We ask that you first contact us so we can resolve any concern quickly and fairly. Any dispute not resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be settled by binding arbitration in Bloomington, Illinois, except where you reside in a state that grants you the right to bring claims in your local courts. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, imagery, logos, design and code — is the property of Curated Habit home LLC and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without written permission. You may not misuse the site, attempt to breach its security, or submit unlawful, fraudulent or malicious content through its forms.

12. Third-Party Links & Financing Partners

References to financing or other third-party services are provided for convenience. Financing is offered by independent lenders subject to credit approval under their own terms and privacy policies; Curated Habit home does not decide credit outcomes.
